Marriage License Information
 
 
To be legally married, you must have a Marriage License.  You obtain a Marriage License from the County Recorder's Office.  I cannot perform the ceremony without the Marriage License.  Please present it to me during the Rehearsal.

TAKE VALID ID (Not expired)
BRIDE & GROOM MUST APPLY TOGETHER
$83 for CONFIDENTIAL LICENSE
$85 for REGULAR LICENSE
YOUR LICENSE IS VALID FOR 90 DAYS.
 
DO NOT FILL IT OUT AFTER IT IS ISSUED
LEAVE EVERYTHING IN YELLOW ENVELOPE
AND GIVE IT TO YOUR OFFICIANT.
BRING LICENSE TO REHEARSAL.
 
After the Ceremony is performed, two witness (often the Maid of Honor and Best Man) and I will sign the Marriage License.  I will mail it to the County Recorder. 
 
After 2-3 weeks, fill out the paperwork requesting a certified copy of the Marriage License.  There is a fee of $13 for each copy plus a $4 processing fee.  You may pick it up in person at the County Recorder's office in San Bernardino or at the Apple Valley Library.
